Carrie’s Kids is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Jacksonville, Florida. Carrie’s Kids empowers young people to discover their identity, build real-world STEM skills, and access meaningful pathways into technology and engineering careers. Through culturally relevant education, hands-on learning, and community-driven opportunities, we equip students with the confidence, readiness, and industry exposure needed to become the next generation of innovators and leaders.
Coding & STEM Foundations: Students learn the basics of computer science through block coding and Python, building confidence and digital fluency.
Cybersecurity & Digital Defense: Students explore data, digital safety, and ethical cybersecurity practices using SQL/KQL and real-world simulations.
Robotics & Engineering Design: Through LEGO robotics and engineering challenges, students design, build, and test solutions like real engineers.
Creative Technology & Digital Design: Students express themselves through digital art, branding, and visual storytelling using modern design tools.
